What is T.A.R?
T.A.R is a wheel-less board developed in Chile by Quantum Futura. It replaces the trucks with a proprietary lift core: no wheels and no mechanical friction with the ground.
It does not rely on magnetic principles. It runs on a proprietary physical principle that, to protect the patent, we do not disclose yet.
T.A.R stands for Tabla Antigravitacional Recreativa: recreational anti-gravity board.
What it will do
Contactless lift
Bench tests project stable lift from 2 to 10 cm above the ground, adjustable from the app.
Active stability
The algorithm reads your weight and lean 1,000 times per second to keep you stable, even through turns.
Body control
You ride it with your body, like a classic board. The app is for taking off, choosing the mode and setting it up.
Any surface
It needs no metal tracks: bench tests point to lift over asphalt, dirt, concrete, wood and uneven ground.
L.O.C
The same principle can pin the board to the ground on demand, as an anti-theft system.
Safe by design
On power loss, it is designed to descend in a controlled way until it rests on the ground.
Choose your T.A.R
Two models, two color options. Same technology, same performance: you choose the color.
T.A.R Black
The T.A.R color. Black body with bronze details, the color of its discs.
It is the standard version: the T.A.R most riders will have.
T.A.R White
White is reserved for the Founder Edition, a limited edition: one of the most exclusive T.A.R will ever have.
Colors, finishes, editions and number of units may change in the final product.
